The whole process of benchmarking should lead in the future to a GLASS Certification for SCs who meet some criteria. The idea of certification, aims at setting a movement of SCs that commit to maintaining high standards in their management practices, that can tackle responsible, social and environmental issues, and who will join a community of leaders who share same values, beliefs and principles.
As a not-for-profit NGO, GLASS is driven by a deep conviction that only an external and neutral body can provide a non-biased evaluation of Sport Clubs’ performances based on internationally accepted standards and requirements. Promoting improved performance and accountability through independent assessment is the key, hence GLASS can be seen as a pioneer in this filed to audit and certify SCs thoroughly.
